Broadmeadows Town Hall
The Broadmeadows Town Hall, or ‘Pink Elephant’ as it was affectionately known in Melbourne’s north has re-opened to the public, revealing a beautiful architectural refurbishment featuring Lotus products.
These adaptive products were Keystone Key-Lena Solid and Perforated 80 + 100 Series Operable Walls (Rw 37 + 47) with an Autex Global Cube finish in Empire, as well as a unique wall configuration and stacking bays. Kerstin Thompson Architects were deservedly awarded the Victorian Architecture Medal, the John George Knight Award for Heritage Architecture and a Commendation for Public Architecture as part of the 2020 Victorian Architecture Awards.
