The Good Guys Head Office Fitout Essendon Fields

The Good Guys have just built an amazing space for their head office in Essendon Fields in Melbourne.  Through growth they had evolved into several smaller properties, but the time came when it all needed to be consolidated into one purpose built space. The space had to convey the corporate culture and values which are reflected in the murals of the original advertising materials from the founding years.  It’s also a modern light filled space with terrific staff amenities.
The brief for Lotus was to create a very flexible space around the meeting / boardrooms and the staff kitchen and dining area. These spaces need to accommodate rooms for interstate video conference link ups, general meetings, board meetings, as well as for staff and corporate functions.  The Opera product allows light transfer to the internal spaces from the external facade whilst providing a certified acoustic performance (Rw 44).  The applied films give a certain look and also allow a degree of privacy so the room occupants do not feel like goldfish in a bowl!  The Opera Walls are intersected with solid acoustic moving walls to provide many different layouts and configurations and they are integrated with the AV system when creating new spaces.

 

We love the look of this fitout and the look and functionality of the Lotus products.
