Leo Cussen Centre for Law, an independent not-for-profit legal training centre moved into their new premises in the heart of Little Bourke Street in Melbourne after 3 decades. The newly designed headquarters features a unique fit-out design where education and workplace facilities are merged creating informal learning and offers students an appreciation for their future placement in a professional work setting.
Gray Puksand partnered with Schiavello Construction and Leo Cussen Centre for Law to translate the client’s brief, by providing a specialised education facility that is welcoming, professional, sophisticated, and inclusive. Lotus were engaged to provide a solution for collaborative, agile working/education spaces in a contemporary environment. 9 Acoustic Operable Walls (125 Series with high acoustic rating) were used throughout the new office to provide adaptable spaces for working and learning for large or small groups of people. The final result transforms the premises to cater for the needs of flexible student learning spaces and professional workspaces.
