Research Primary School – Award Winning Education Design
Research Primary School in Victoria has been refurbished by Kennedy Nolan and Newpol Construction, and was deservedly appointed the prestigious winner of the Victorian Architecture Award for Educational Architecture.
The innovative school design has flexibility infused in every aspect, with a Lotus’ 100 Series Acoustic Operable Wall and a Glazed Acoustic Slider incorporated to bring this adaptive vision to life.
The Operable Wall has been installed between learning areas to provide inter-class teaching or larger group projects when required.
The Operable Wall is finished in Autex Composition in red tones to enhance the other colour blocked elements within the space, and to complement the impactful Architectural design. The tired old classrooms and facilities within the Research Primary School have been transformed into beautifully crafted modern learning environments, where students and staff will thrive.
