Royal Agricultural Society of NSW

A very big shed, and Lotus moving walls

Construction of the huge facility at the Royal Agricultural Society in Sydney has just completed, and Lotus moving walls are a key element of the building’s look, and functionality. To make the most of the enormous space, configurable moving walls were just the ticket. The main wall is 8.0m high and 53.0m long and features pedestrian access doors which gives you a great sense of scale. The secondary wall is 3.6m high and 56.0m long and is segmented to match the curvature of the building. Both walls have a sound rating of Rw47 to suit the acoustic requirements of the space. Thanks to all stakeholders for allowing Lotus to participate and showcase it’s large project delivery skills.
