Royal Perth Hospital
The Royal Perth Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has been recently relocated and redesigned by Hunt Architects in WA.
ADCO Constructions implemented the design and engaged Lotus to provide 28 solid acoustic sliders for the Level 2 hospital ICU.
Our sliders incorporated Switchable glass (which turns from transparent to opaque at the push of a button), providing privacy and acoustic comfort when required, but also a connection between spaces.
The acoustic sliders have been finished in natural muted colours, complementing other interior elements and creating a sense of calm throughout the facility.
